Reflecting on 2023 & Plans for 2024
Happy 2024! I hope you're doing well, reflecting on the past, and eagerly embracing the new year's opportunities. As we bid farewell to 2023, I am grateful for your continued support and collaboration.
The transition from the holiday season to the beginning of the year is a unique blend of relaxation and anticipation. I trust you're enjoying the well-deserved break while also gearing up for the challenges and triumphs that January will undoubtedly bring. The ebb and flow of this profession allows us to appreciate both chaos and reflection, and I hope you're finding the right balance for a smooth return.
I am immensely thankful to each of you who has joined me on this musical journey. Together, we've created beautiful music, supported one another, and provided students with valuable experiences for musical growth and knowledge.
In August 2023, I embarked on a mission to empower choral directors and voice students, leading to the creation of Empowering Voices Through Music. Since then, we've achieved some beautiful milestones:
- Collaborated with voice students at Florida Christian School, culminating in a delightful recital in early December.
- Conducted a voice workshop at South Miami Senior High, where students explored the vocal mechanism, identified their vocal range, and shared their musical talents.
- Stepped in as a substitute singer and conductor for a local church, contributing to their worship services.
- Observed and assisted choral directors with the Children's Voice Chorus, recognizing strengths and identifying growth opportunities.
- Guided students in preparing pre-screening videos, recitals, and church worship services.
- Hosted a successful middle school workshop, celebrating choral music at Ronald W. Reagan/Doral Sr. High.
Looking ahead to 2024, I am excited about how I can continue supporting you and your music programs. I'm eager to know if there's something specific you need assistance with that I may have yet to recognize. Please reach out and let me serve you and your students.

2. Functional Lesson Plan Format: Tailored to suit your needs, making planning efficient and effective.
3. "How to Talk to Your Admin" Guide: A resource to help you build rapport with your administration, outlining your needs and goals for a harmonious alignment of views.
